This version of QuickView is released for current users of Macintosh Programmer's Toolbox Assistant (MPTA). MPTA is available on the Developer CD series, E.T.O., MPW Pro, and through APDA (email: APDA@applelink.apple.com, Phone: 1-800-282-APDA).

Fat City!
This version of QuickView is PowerPC native! Users with Power PC based microprocessors should see a significant improvement in the speed of certain operations with this new version.
Cut and Paste in Typeahead field
The typeahead keyword field now accepts standard clipboard functions like cut, copy and paste.
Template Preferences
You can now set certain preferences for how the routine templates are copied from MPTA.
More Considerate in the Background
When QuickView is in the background, it now "does the right thing" and gives more time to other applications.
Bugs Squashed
No More Write to Nil
There was a problem that QuickView wrote to address "nil" when responding to Apple events. This version eliminates that problem.
Multiple Monitor Support
Zooming behavior on multiple monitors is now correct.
Copy Template with Floating Windows
You can now execute the "Copy Template" command when floating windows are present.
Misc Speed Improvements
Several small enhancements will improve the speed of QuickView database access.
